BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University freshman Emily Hope (Enon/Greenon) was named the Heartland Conference Hitting Athlete of the Week for her work at the plate last week. It marks the second time this season that a Beaver has been honored. Kaylee Grant (Lima/Shawnee) was recognized just one week ago after going 6-of-8 against Asbury!
Hope hit .538 with seven hits in 13 at bats as the Beavers went 3-3 for the week. She scored four runs and drove in three. Her on-base percentage was .684 thanks to a walk and five hit by pitches.
Bluffton is back on the diamond for its next home twin-bill with Wilmington University on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Game one with the Quakers is slated for 3:30 p.m.
