Kim Miller named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University forward KIM MILLER (Delphos/St. John's) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 29, 2009.

Miller led Bluffton to a win over Earlham in the Beavers' only game of the week. She finished with 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field and 11-for-13 at the charity stripe. The junior also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out seven assists. Miller blocked a shot and came up with two steals in the victory.

Miller ranks third in the conference in points per game (19.5) and she is second in rebounds per contest (7.8) this season. Her 6.75 assists per game also places Miller second in the HCAC.

The Beavers open Heartland Conference action when they host the College of Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday, December 2. The contest is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Hall.
