BLUFFTON, Ohio - KIM MILLER (Delphos/St. John's) was recently named first team All-Heartland Conference following an outstanding junior campaign on the hardwood. Also picking up post-season hardware for the Beavers was senior forward GINNY BUCKINGHAM (Bluffton) who earned honorable mention All-HCAC for 2009-10.

Taking home her third All-Heartland Conference honor in as many seasons, Kim Miller was named first team All-HCAC after being selected honorable mention last year and All-Freshmen in 2007-08. Personnel issues and injuries forced Miller to shoulder more of the scoring load while still directing the offense from her forward position. Miller led the Beavers with 345 points (14.4 PPG) and she finished second in rebounding with 7.3 boards per contest. The junior dished out a team-high 98 assists, the third straight season she has led Bluffton in that category. Miller was 119-of-152 (.783) at the line and 113-of-219 (.516) from the field. In addition, Miller topped Bluffton with 45 steals and 17 blocks this season.

After just three seasons with the Beavers, Miller has already made her mark on the Bluffton record books. She is currently 12th all-time with 863 points. Her .797 career free throw percentage tops the record book and her 301 assists (4th all-time) has Miller just 35 from taking over as the career leader in dimes. Miller has made 282 free throws (2nd all-time) and her 128 steals is 10th on the career list. In addition, Miller's 485 caroms place her 11th all-time and she has a legitimate chance at moving to number one on the list during her senior season.

Collecting her All-HCAC award following a superb senior campaign, Ginny Buckingham capped off her career at Bluffton by being named honorable mention all-conference. Buckingham started all 24 games for the Beavers, making it 79 starts in 87 games at Bluffton. She was 92-of-182 (.505) from the field while dropping in 10.7 points per game, the second highest PPG for the Beavers behind Miller. The talented forward paced Bluffton with 208 boards (8.7 RPG) and she also came up with 31 steals and 13 assists.

Buckingham leaves Bluffton ranked third all-time with 631 rebounds and her 210 made free throws is tied for 8th on the career list. She finished with 798 points (14th all-time) and 108 steals (tied for 14th all-time).
