BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Women's Golf Team opened the Beaver Classic with a 374 on a beautiful Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. Leading the women was junior Brylee Oberdorf (Clyde/Green Springs) who finished with an 89 at the Bluffton Golf Club.
Sophomore Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) came in just one stroke back of Oberdorf, posting a 90 on day one. Sophomore Grace Branson (Carlisle) and Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) rounded out the scoring four with rounds of 96 and 99, respectively.
Freshman Meredith Obringer (Tiffin/Columbian) carded a 105 at Bluffton on Saturday. Junior Keely Briggs (Franklin) put together a round of 95 on day one, while freshman Kallie Smith (North lewisburg/Triad) posted her best collegiate score with a 103 at Bluffton.
Bluffton caps off its home weekend at Hidden Creek Country Club on Sunday, Sept. 20. Tee off at Hidden Creek is slated for 11 a.m. on Sunday.
