Beavers fire a 369 in 2020 fall finale

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team finished the 2020 fall campaign on a high note, shooting a 369 at Mohawk Country Club on Sunday, Oct. 11. The Beavers shaved 30 strokes off their Saturday score, ending the Tiffin Fall Invitational with a 768. Bluffton picked up a win over Ursuline College as the Arrows tallied a 770 at Mohawk.

Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) equaled her school record with an 83 on Sunday, 14 strokes better than her 97 from Saturday. She led the team with a 180 for the weekend. Sophomores Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) and Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) were separated by just two shots, going 91 and 93 on Sunday. Freshman Meredith Obringer (Tiffin/Calvert) and junior Keely Briggs (Franklin) rounded out the Bluffton scorecards with 102 and 105, respectively.

The women's golf team will return to the links for competition in March of 2021 following a successful fall campaign that saw the Beavers continue to add entries to their record book!
