Bluffton fires a 372 on day two of HCAC Championship

HARRISON, Ohio - Day two of the 2020-21 Heartland Conference Women's Golf Championship saw the Bluffton University women vaulted past Earlham College into sixth place heading into the money round on Sunday. The Beavers shaved 19 strokes off their Friday score with a red-hot 372 on Saturday!

Sophomore Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) continued her impressive weekend with a team-low 86 at Miami Whitewater. That followed her team-best 93 on Friday, giving her a 179 for the tournament with 18 holes to play.

Meredith Obringer (Tiffin/Columbian) carded a 95 for the second straight day, making it 190 after 36 holes. Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) and Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) both cracked 100 with scores of 97 and 94, respectively.

Bluffton will cap off its unique 2020-21 season on Sunday, April 25, at day three of the HCAC Championships, starting at 10 a.m.
