Briggs fires a 91 to lead Beavers at ONU

HARROD, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team played for the third straight day on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. Following two days at Denison, Coach Craig changed up the lineup for the Labor Day event at Colonial Golf Club. The Beavers finished with a 413 on Monday, besting rival Defiance by three strokes.

Senior Keely Briggs (Franklin) shot a 91 to lead the way for Bluffton. Freshmen Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) and Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney) went 103 and 109, respectively, with freshman Isabel Miller (Dayton/Centerville) and Grace Branson (Carlisle) rounding out the day with identical scores of 110.

Bluffton will make the trip to Defiance on Tuesday, Sept. 7, when they play in the Defiance Fall Invitational at Eagle Rock Golf Club.
