Bluffton takes fifth at Alice Lloyd Invitational

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Bluffton University women's golf team shot a 377 on Sunday, March 27, en route to a fifth place finish at the Alice Lloyd Invitational in Richmond, Ky. The Beavers finished with a 751, just three strokes off 4th place Oakland City.

Making her way onto the All-Tournament Team with a 4th place finish was junior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) who fired an 85 on Sunday for a two-day score of 173! Freshman Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) and senior Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) went 191 and 192, respectively, for 19th and 20th place on the leaderboard. Freshman Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Loudon) rounded out the top four with a 195 and Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) carded a 209.

The Beavers will be hoping for better weather when they return to Hidden Creek for the Bluffton Invite on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3. Come out to the golf course and cheer on your Beavers!
