Five women earn WGCA All-American Scholar honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The WGCA All-American Scholars were announced with a total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

The Beavers saw a school-record five women earn their placements on the All-American Scholar Team, after two straight years of four honorees. Senior Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) and junior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) collected their third straight A-A Scholar Team honors. Freshmen Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery), Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) and Isabelle Vance (Continental/Miller City) rounded out Bluffton's five honorees on this prestigious award.
