HARRISON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team kicked off its 2023-24 campaign with a 346 at the Stateline Shootout on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023.

Leading the Beavers and tied for the tournament lead after 18 holes is junior Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) who shot an 80 on Saturday! Four strokes back and in fifth place is Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) who shot on 84.

Freshman Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) carded an 88 in her first collegiate round, while sophomore Sara Kroeger (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) and senior Shelby Stammen (Versailles) shot 94 and 95, respectively.

The Beavers will play 18 more holes at Miami Whitewater on Sunday, looking to track down MSJ which holds a 17-stroke lead over second-place Bluffton.
