The Bluffton College women's soccer team earned their first win of the season last week, beating Defiance College 2-1 in the Sears Athletic Complex on September 12.

Freshman Whitney Wood scored the first BC goal off an assist from junior Katie Kantner, while sophomore Laura Anderson scored the final BC goal without an assist. Freshman Alayne Troyer recorded eight saves to preserve the win.

The Beavers hosted Hanover on September 16 and were dealt a 1-0 loss.

Bluffton played at Otterbein on September 18 and at Ohio Northern on September 21. BC will host Franklin College on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m.
