Junior Katie Kantner has been named to the first team All-Heartland Conference in women's soccer as the Beavers wrapped up their 2000 season on October 24. Kantner led Bluffton with 17 points this season on five goals and seven assists, which ranked in the top ten in the league.

Sophomores April Leu and Rachel Mack were both second team All-HCAC selections.

BC finished the 2000 season October 24 with a loss to Hanover College in the Heartland Conference tournament. The women's soccer team finished with a 3-14 overall record and 1-5 record in Heartland Conference play.

This year's team was very young, sporting only three upperclassmen, but BC was able to defeat Defiance College, who finished 4th in the HCAC, in an early non-conference game. The Beavers also defeated Franklin College 5-1 in a mid-season league game for their conference victory this year.
