Beavers fall to MSJ, 6-0

The Bluffton College women's soccer team was defeated in their only game last week on Saturday at Mount St. Joseph, 6-0. The game was a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match and the loss dropped the Beavers to 0-6 in the HCAC and 1-12 overall.

The Beavers have one contest remaining this season on November 2 at home against Hanover at 11 a.m. It will also be Parents Day as the Beaver soccer players' parents will be recognized before the game.

Four players share the team-lead in scoring with one goal each, including sophomore Heather Brooke, junior Kelly Dietrick, senior Jill Domachowski and sophomore Emily Peter.

Senior Dayna Peiffer, who collected 29 saves in the Mt. St. Joseph game, leads the goalkeepers with 149 saves on the season. Sophomore Rochelle Saccomen has 57 saves and freshman Tara Manley has added in 12.
