Both and Good named second team All-HCAC

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Seniors JESSIE GOOD (Lima/Elida) and EVA VOTH (Bluffton/Bluffton) have been named All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference second team in women's soccer for the 2007 season.

Jessie Good, a senior defender, was honored by the Heartland Conference for the second consecutive year as she earned second team All-HCAC honors after being named to the first team following her junior campaign. Her outstanding play in the backfield helped the Beavers limit their opponents to an all-time low 34 goals (2.1 goals per game). She ended her two-year career at Bluffton with one goal and two assists while starting in all 33 contests the past two seasons.

 
 

Eva Voth, a four-year starter in the defensive backfield for the Beavers, was rewarded with her first Heartland Conference honor following an outstanding season at Bluffton. She was a key contributor on a greatly improved Bluffton defense. Voth picked up an assist and started all 16 matches for the Beavers in 2007. For her career, Voth saw action in 62 contests, starting in 51.

Bluffton finished the season with a 5-10-1 overall record and a 2-6 mark in the HCAC. Full statistics and information on the 2007 women's soccer season are available online.
