| BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior ALLISON WHITE (Lima/Shawnee) was recently named first team in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for women's soccer. She is the first Beaver since Jessie Good in 2006 and only the fifth Bluffton women's soccer player ever to be honored as a first team selection. Senior ELYSE BURCKHART (Telford, Penn./Souderton) and freshman LYNDSAY NELSON (St. Mary's) both garnered second team All-HCAC honors following the 2008 season. |
| White, who was a second team selection in 2005 and 2006, led the Beavers with team highs of six goals and four assists for 16 total points. She fired 42 shots, including the game-winner and a hat trick in Bluffton's 3-0 victory over Franklin College. For her career, White played in 65 matches and she started 62 of those. The standout forward scored 13 career goals, which tied her for fifth all-time at Bluffton, and she also dished out five assists for 31 total points. |
| Picking up her second All-Heartland Conference award was senior Elyse Burckhart who was a second team selection as a sophomore in 2006. She tallied one assist as a senior and finished her career with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points. The senior ended her career with 63 shots, including 12 in 2008. She knocked in a game-winner as a freshman in 2005. Burckhart started in 60 of her 63 matches for the Beavers. |

Freshman Lyndsay Nelson took home second team All-Heartland Conference honors after her first season at Bluffton University. The midfielder started all 17 games for the Beavers and fired eight shots on the year while helping Bluffton limit opponents to an all-time low 33 goals this season. Bluffton finished the year with a 6-10-1 overall record and a 3-5 mark in the HCAC, which was good for sixth place.
