BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 less than 15 minutes into the season opener on the way to a 3-0 shutout at the hands of Ohio Christian on a cool Friday, Sept. 1, 2017.
Junior Skylar Liming (St. Marys/Memorial) ripped a team-best four shots while freshman Sienna Sullivan (Columbus/Hilliard Davidson) turned away 12 attempts by the visitors.
The Trailblazers finished with 22 shots, compared to nine for the Beavers. Ohio Christian also forced three more corner kicks (7-4) in the victory.
Bluffton jumps back into action on Sunday, Sept. 3, when the Beavers travel to Oberlin College for a matchup with Yeowomen at 2 p.m.
