HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision at Huntington University on a hot Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018. The Beavers fell to 1-5, while the Foresters upped their season mark to 3-6.

Bluffton fell behind 3-0 at the half and Huntington tacked on two late goals for the 5-0 shutout. Freshman Julia Gibson (New Carlisle, Ohio/Tecumseh) led the Beavers with two shots on goal. Junior Courtney Davis (Richmond, MI/Richmond) and sophomore Sienna Sullivan (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) combined to rack up 18 saves for the visitors.

Huntington fired away with 45 of the 48 shots in the match. The home team forced all 11 corner kicks in their victory.

Bluffton is back in Indiana on Saturday, Sept. 22, when the Beavers take on St. Mary's College in Notre Dame at 3 p.m.
