KOKOMO, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at IU-Kokomo on a humid Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022. Bluffton fell to 1-3-1, while Kokomo upped its mark to 4-1-2.
Bluffton kept the Cougars off the scoreboard for nearly 30 minutes before a pair of IU-Kokomo goals late in the first half made the score 2-0 at the break. Two more tallies by the home team in period two sent IU-Kokomo to a 4-0 victory in the second-ever meeting between the two schools.
Kokomo finished with a decided 29-3 edge in total shots, including 13-2 on frame. The Wolves also forced 10 of the 11 corner kicks in the match.
Sophomore Brielle Collier (Anna) turned away nine shots in the 4-0 setback on Thursday night.
