HANOVER, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Hanover College on a warm Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022. Bluffton slipped to 4-10-1 overall and 3-5 in the Heartland Conference, while Hanover stayed at the top of the HCAC at 7-0-1 and 11-2-2 overall.

Senior Nina McGinn (Marion/Harding) finished with the only attempt for the Beavers as Hanover parlayed a 25-1 shot advantage into a convincing 4-0 shutout thanks to one score in the first half and three more tallies in the final stanza.

The Panthers finished with seven of the eight corner kicks and they were whistled for two more fouls (6-4). 

Hanover kept sophomore keeper Brielle Collier (Anna) busy as she did work with 12 saves.

The Bluffton women are still in play for their second HCAC Tournament berth in school history when the Beavers wrap up the regular season with a Wednesday afternoon trip to Manchester University. Kickoff at North Manchester, Ind., is slated for 3:30 p.m. on October 26.
