BC Indoor Track team competes at ONU

The Bluffton College track and field team participated in their third meet of the season last Saturday. The meet was held at Ohio Northern University with 22 teams coming together in the DeBow Freed Midwest Elite Meet at ONU's King Horn Center. Several of the BC track members participated in the meet.

 

In the men's shot put Rick Orr placed 4th overall with a distance of 46'5.25".

 

Sophomore Clint Dillon placed 5th overall in men's pole vault with a height of 12'10.00".

Participating in shot put were Travis Lepley with a distance of 37'0.5" and Kevin Foster with a distance of 28'10.5".

 

Orr, Lepley, and Foster also competed in men's weight throw with distances of 36'5", 29'1.25", and 23'3.5", respectively.

 

In the women's shot put Michelle Bailey got a distance of 29'10.75" and in the weight throw she threw a distance of 35'3".

 

The meet was not scored.
