The Bluffton College men's track team competed at Ohio Northern University in the last Friday Night Series Meet of the season on Feb. 22 and walked away with some good performances and personal bests, as well.
"We had some decent performances tonight on the men's side," said Coach Stanley. "Nusbaum had a break-through in the 55, Lepley PR'd, and Schiefer came out and competed strong. Plus, the relays ran decent, so overall we had a good day."
Ryan Nusbaum led off the evening with a PR in the 55m dash, running a 6.83. In the mid-distance events Andy Schiefer competed well in his first meet of the year running the 800m in 2:10.37 and Steve Borga showed some of his speed in the 1500m run finishing with a 4:31.12.
The 4x200 team of Ryan Nusbaum, Jason Lehman, Troy Baumer, and Chris Mackey lowered their season best time to 1:36.11 and the 4x400 team of Baumer, Lehman, Schiefer, and Mackey dropped over three seconds running a 3:38.01. Also notching a personal best on the night was Travis Lepley who threw the shot put with a throw of 40-02.25.

Adam Heckler: 32' 04.25", shot put
The men's team travels to Florida State and Florida A&M for spring break on March 1&2 and March 8&9, respectively.
