Dillon won the Pole Vault this past Saturday at the Tiffin Invite with a mark of 15'2.25." The height mark provisionally qualified Dillon for the NCAA Division III national championships and breaks his own school record set in 2002 of 15.'

"It's a big relief for myself and Clint to achieve this standard. Clint's worked hard over the past two seasons to physically prepare himself in order to compete at the national level," head coach Nate Smith said. "Now our goal is to continue moving up that list and for Clint to continue reaching new heights in 2004."

Dillon is currently the top vaulter in the HCAC for the current season by more than a half foot over the competition. His performance helped Beavers earn a third place finish at the Tiffin Invitational this past weekend. Bluffton College will be back in action this weekend at home when they host the Beaver Invitational on Saturday.
