Team is well represented on All-HCAC team

Sophomore Rita Muether BLUFFTON, OHIO - The Bluffton College track and field team participated in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships this past weekend with the women's team earning their first ever conference title. The men's team placed third; as they tied their best ever finish from 2003. Freshman Cindy Allan

Sophomore RITA MUETHER(Celina/Celina) won both the 200 and 400 meter dash and was on the winning 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams. For her efforts the sprinter was named the Most Outstanding Female Track Athlete and earned all-conference. Freshman CINDY ALLAN (Fayette/Archbold) was named Head Coach Nate Smith Most Outstanding Freshman Female Athlete after finishing third in the 100 meter dash and fourth in the 200 meter dash.  Allen was also a part of the winning 4x100 relay team.  Head coach NATE SMITH was also recognized in the awards as he received Women's Coach of the Year in the Heartland Conference.

Colby Bright- long jump - 6.50 meters
