BLUFFTON, Ohio-The Bluffton University Men's and Women's Track and Field teams traveled to Ohio Northern for the Friday Night Series Meet #2. The Men's team placed 6th while the Women finished 7th.
On the women's side the Beavers were led by senior Kirstie Dravenstott (Smithville/Smithville) who finished 6th in the high jump with a jump of 4'11''. Sophomore Sarah Humphrey (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky) and senior Jennifer Creamer (Westerville/Westerville South) placed 5th and 6th in the 5000m crossing the line in 19:49.82 and 19:52.89 respectively.
Leading the men, senior Dan Rosebrock (Napoleon/Napoleon) broke a twenty year old school record running the mile in 4:32.55 good for 4th place. Senior Colby Bright (Galion/Galion) finished 4th in the 300m with a time of 37:27, while junior Shandon North (Galion/Galion) ran the 400m in 51:39 which was good for 3rd place.
Bluffton returns to action this weekend, January 27-28, at the Findlay Oiler Invitational.
