Seven Beavers qualify for Div. III All-Ohio Championships

Bluffton, Ohio - Seven members of the Bluffton Track and Field team have qualified for the All-Ohio Championships to be held on Saturday, February 11 at Ohio Northern University. The All-Ohio Championships consist of every Division III school in the state of Ohio.  To qualify for the meet the individual must have one of the top 16 times in their respected event, relay teams must be in the top eight.

Junior SHANDON NORTH (Galion/Galion) qualified second in the 400m with his time of 50.90,  senior COLBY BRIGHT (Galion/Galion) also qualified for the 400m. Senior DAN ROSEBROCK'S (Napoleon/Napoleon) record breaking performance in the 800m at the Anderson Indoor Invitational qualified him for the 800m. The Distance Medley Relay which includes North and Rosebrock as well as juniors JORDON BRUNER (Wauseon/Pettisville) and JOHNNY ICHRIST (Toledo/Whitmer) also qualified.

On the women's side the 5000m tandem of sophomore SARAH HUMPHREY (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky) and senior JENNIFER CREAMER (Westerville/Westerville South) will look to break the record for the fourth straight meet.

The meet will be held this Saturday, February 11 at the ONU Sports Center in Ada, Ohio. Events are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
