Bluffton competes at All-Ohio Championships

Bluffton, Ohio - This past weekend the Bluffton men's and women's Track and Field teams competed at the Division III All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Northern University. There were seven runners for the Beavers who competed in the meet.

The men's Distance Medley Relay of senior DAN ROSEBROCK (Napoleon/Napoleon) and juniors SHANDON NORTH (Galion/Galion), JORDON BRUNER (Wauseon/Pettisville), and JOHNNY ICHRIST (Toledo/Whitmer) broke their own school record, finishing sixth with a time of 10:44.43.  North also competed in the 400m where he placed fifth overall, crossing the line in 51.33. Senior COLBY BRIGHT (Galion/Galion) won his heat in the 400m on his way to a 10th place finish with a time of 52.06. Rosebrock followed up his 4:24 mile performance in the DMR with a 2:04 in the 800m.

Sophomore SARAH HUMPHREY (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky) and JENNIFER CREAMER (Westerville/Westerville South) both competed in the 5000m on Saturday. Humphrey finished 13th crossing the line in 19:23.08 while Creamer was right behind her the whole way as she ended up 14th with a time of 19:27.28.

The Beavers return to action next Friday night, February 17 at ONU for the Friday Night Series Meet #4.
