BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior JASON FISHER (Rockford/Parkway) was recently named Men's Field Athlete of the Week in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference following his performance at the Dick Small Invitational in Defiance on Saturday, March 21, 2009.

Fisher dominated on Saturday, racking up 24 points himself as he took home a pair of first place finishes and a fifth place in the hammer throw with a distance of 154-11. He won the shot put with a toss of 47-03.75 and he followed that with a victory in the discus (137-04).

The Beavers return to action on Saturday, March 28, when Bluffton travels to Cedarville for the Yellow Jacket Open.
