BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior JASON FISHER (Rockford/Parkway) was recently named Men's Field Athlete of the Week in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the second time this season following his performance at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday, April 11, 2009.

Jason Fisher scored all 23 of Bluffton's points on the men's side, including 10 for his first place throw in the hammer (169-02 feet). He finished second in the shot with a toss of 49-04.50 feet and his throw of 149-02 feet in the discus was good for fourth place and five points.

The Beavers return to action on Saturday, April 18, when Bluffton travels to Wilmington College.
