Jason Fisher places third in shot put at All-Ohio Championships

DELAWARE, Ohio - The Bluffton University track and field teams competed at the All-Ohio Championship meet hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The men placed 17th and the women came in 19th overall. Host Ohio Wesleyan University won on the men's side while Baldwin-Wallace College claimed the women's title.

Leading on the men's side was JASON FISHER (Rockford/Parkway). Fisher placed third in the shot put with a throw of 50-10.75 and seventh in the discus with a throw of 151-02.

Pacing the women was sophomore ALLISON TRENT (Orrville/Smithville). Trent placed eighth in the hammer with a throw of 123-01.
 
The Beavers will return to action on Saturday, April 24, when Bluffton travels to Wilmington College for the Quaker Invite. Competition is slated to start at 11 a.m.
