HCAC Indoor Championships

ANDERSON, Ind. - The Bluffton University track and field teams competed in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Anderson University on Saturday, February 19. The Bluffton women finished 10th overall while Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology took the conference title for both men and women.

Placing for the Bluffton women was junior MEGAN NEAL (Arlington), who finished 4th in the weight throw with a toss of 41-10. Also scoring was the women's distance medley relay team of sophomore ALISON JANZEN (Whitewater, Kansas/Remington), freshman LINDSAY KROHN (Marysville, Ind./New Washington), freshman BRANDI DOMINIQUE (Wauseon/Wauseon) and freshman LYNDSEY DARROW (Pioneer/North Central), who placed seventh with a time of 14.41.49.

This concludes the Beavers' indoor season as they start to prepare for their outdoor slate, starting with the Dick Small Invitational hosted by Defiance College on March 19.
