Megan Neal sets new school record in hammer throw

ADRIAN, Michigan - The Bluffton University track and field teams competed in the All-American Invitational, hosted by Adrian College on Saturday, April 9, 2011 The meet was unscored.

Leading the Bluffton women was junior MEGAN NEAL (Arlington). Neal set a new school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 46.13 meters, which also won the event.

Also scoring for the women was freshman KAYLA MULLENHOUR (Delphos/Jefferson) who placed 6th in the 400m hurdles (1:11.71) and 8th in the 100m hurdles (18.00) and in the high jump (1.37)

Scoring for the men was junior BRYAN HECKATHORN (Hartville), who placed 8th in the shot put with a throw of 12.15 meters.

The Beavers are back in action on Saturday, April 16, when they compete at the All-Ohio Championship, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
