Meet Information – 9/12/2020
Participating Teams: Bluffton, Manchester, Transylvania
Location: Emery Sears Athletic Complex on the campus of Bluffton University
Parking: Busses may park on the north side of the stadium (closest to Augburger Rd.) or drop athletes off and park at the Sommer Center on campus
Team Areas and Facilities: Team areas will be marked off in the grass just outside of the track. Please inform your athletes to remain in their camp areas unless actively warming up, using the restroom, or racing. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
Entries: Please send a list of athletes you expect to compete in the 3200m to wellsl@bluffton.edu by noon on Thursday, September 10th. We will seed 4x400 relays on the fly.
Timing: Bluffton University staff and volunteers will be providing hand-timed results for each team. We will also plan to have video recording at the finish line should there be any disputes.
Seeding: To maintain social distancing and provide a safe racing atmosphere, we will utilize boxed alley starts for each team. Starting lanes will be randomized and each athlete will be assigned a hip number to be worn on their left hip.
Schedule of Events
3:00 pm – Women's 3200m
3:30 pm – Men's 3200m
4:30 pm – Mixed Gender 4x400
***As per University guidelines, no outside spectators will be allowed at the event with the exception of Bluffton University staff and students***
