Brantley Curnutte returned to the Bluffton University baseball program as a graduate assistant for the 2020-21 season after graduating here in May of 2020. Curnutte is in his first season as a full-time assistant for the Beavers after two years as a graduate assistant. He graduated from Hilliard Davidson High School in 2015. After High school, Curnutte attended Bluffton University and graduated in 2020.

While at Bluffton, Curnutte played for five years while being a staple on the pitching staff. Curnutte was a part of Bluffton's first-ever Heartland Conference tournament team in 2018. Before joining the coaching staff, Curnutte coached for the Midwest Marlins. During the summer of 2017, Curnutte competed for the runner up Grand Lake Mariners in the GLCSL. Curnutte will be responsible for the pitching staff.
