D3football.com All-Region release

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Antonio Crossty (Wooster) has been named Third Team All-North Region by D3football.com following a junior campaign in which he equaled the school record with 70 solo tackles. The junior was named First Team All-Heartland Conference when the HCAC handed out its post-season hardware following the 2019 season. He was one of just four from the HCAC to be earn All-North Region honors.

Crossty had a coming out party in 2019, leading Bluffton with 94 tackles which was good for 2nd in the Heartland Conference. His 70 solo stops led the conference and tied him with his defensive coordinator (Josh Runda) for the top spot on Bluffton's single-season list! He finished his junior campaign with two TFL's, four breakups, an interception, a forced fumble and a blocked punt. Crossty had racked up 156 career tackles and eight breakups heading into his final season.

The teams, selected in balloting by North Region sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 212 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 78 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced the evening of Dec. 20, in D3football.com's pregame coverage for Stagg Bowl XLVII.
