BLUFFTON, Ohio - Graduate student Xavier Reyero (Corona, Cal./Corona) has been named the Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a 51-35 season-opening win over Kenyon on Saturday, Sept. 2.

Reyero went 24-of-38 for 404 yards and a fourth place spot in the record books for a single game during his first start for Bluffton. He set the school record for passing touchdowns with seven scores in the game! Reyero led the Beavers to a 51-35 victory over Kenyon after five first half TD passes put Bluffton up 35-8 at the break.

Bluffton will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 9, when they welcome Albion College to Salzman Stadium for a second straight game under the lights. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
