Cunningham and Stober named to Dean's List

The Bluffton University men's basketball team had a noteworthy semester in the classroom, ending the fall with 15 players above 3.0 for the semester. Two Beavers were named to the Dean's List (3.6 and above) for the 2008 Fall semester, while 13 other student-athletes finished the semester with a grade point average that exceeded 3.0 during the fall.

"We are pleased with, and proud of, our team's academic performance during the fall semester," stated Coach Neal. "Our players are true student-athletes and we stress this a great deal within our total basketball program here at Bluffton." Bluffton's mentor expects his players to be leaders in the classroom and the results speak for themselves.

Seniors COLT CUNNINGHAM (Powell/Worthington Christian) and JOSIAH STOBER were both honored on the Dean's List. JUSTIN RUFENACHT (Wauseon/Pettisville), AARON TAYLOR (Antwerp) and NICK WILSON (Continental) posted GPA's in excess of 3.0 as all five Bluffton men's basketball seniors had outstanding semesters in the classroom.

Junior TYLER BRAIDIC (Pandora/Pandora-Gilboa) and sophomores A.J. HOLMAN (Arcadia) and ROB LUDERMAN (Ayersville) ended the semester with at least a 3.0 GPA. In addition, seven freshmen finished their first semester at Bluffton with a GPA above 3.0, including ANTHONY DYBALA (Maumee), BRENT FARLEY (Lima/Shawnee), MYCHAL HILL(London/Jonathan Alder), NICK LEE (Vanlue), CLAYTON LEIMEISTER (Lima/Temple Christian), ORRY MOUGHLER (Butler, Ind./Eastside) and STEVE SWICK (Lima/Elida).
