BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University sophomore guard Ian Snelling (Erlanger, Ky./Dixie Heights) has been named the Heartland Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for his work in Sunday's home win over Hiram College.

Snelling scored 12 points, ripped down 10 boards and dished out seven dimes, all career highs, in an 87-79 victory over Hiram on Sunday afternoon! He hit 6-of-12 from the field, blocked two shots and added a steal while coming up just three assists shy of a triple double in his fourth game as a Beaver.

Bluffton will be back in the Sommer Center on Saturday, Dec. 2, when the Beavers welcome Rose-Hulman for their Heartland Conference opener. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. following the women's matchup with the Engineers.
