JACKSON, Mich. - The Bluffton University Men's Golf Team shot a 334 at the Irish Hills Intercollegiate on Friday, Sept. 18, 2020. It kicked off a marathon weekend as Bluffton's men and women host the Beaver Classic on Saturday and Sunday.

Junior Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) shot a team-low 78 on Friday, good for 10th at The Grande Golf Club in Jackson, Mich. Fellow junior Spencer Daniels (Ashland) was three stokes back with an 81. Senior Takoda Pratt (Mansfield/Shelby) carded an 82, while sophomores Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) and Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) went 83 and 84, respectively.

Bluffton just missed out on a fourth place finish as tournament host Adrian fielded two teams which tallied rounds of 328 and 333.

The Beavers will tee it up at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Bluffton Golf Club for day one of the Beaver Classic. Day two is slated for Hidden Creek Golf Club with the first players again off the tee at 11 a.m.
