Beavers cap off weekend at HCAC Preview

HARRISON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team put up a 326 on Sunday, Oct. 3, giving the Beavers a 647 at the HCAC Championship Preview. Bluffton placed 8th on the course they will tackle again in the spring when MSJ hosts the 2022 Heartland Conference Championship.

Junior Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) used a 79 on Sunday to give him a team-low 159 for the weekend. Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) and Nathan Eberle (Grove City) were just off the pace with a 160 and 161, respectively.

Senior Nick Offenburger (Lexington) and freshman Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) checked in with identical scores of 166, while Hunter Jolliff (Elida) chimed in with a 167.

Bluffton hits the links again on Monday, Oct. 11 for the Capital Fall Classic at Blacklick Woods. The Beavers will have a marathon day of 36 holes at Blacklick before wrapping up the fall at the Denison Fall Invitational on October 16-17.
