RICHMOND, Ky. - The Bluffton University men's golf team battled frigid and blustery conditions in Kentucky on the opening weekend of 2022 spring competition. Bluffton placed sixth out of eight teams across all divisions.

Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) tied for 23rd with a two-day total of 159 and just one stroke back was Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) who shot a team-low 77 on Sunday. Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) followed with a 161, while Nick Offenburger (Lexington) and Hunter Jolliff (Elida) checked in with scores of 167 and 172 for the tournament.

The Beavers will be hoping for better weather when they return to Hidden Creek for the Bluffton Invite on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3. Come out to the golf course and cheer on your Beavers!
