Kujawa leads Spring Invite after round 1

BEAVERDAM, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team showed its depth on day one of the Bluffton Spring Invitational. The second team for Coach Craig led 14 squads with a score of 312 on Saturday, April 2! Team number one stood second, just eight strokes back at 320.

Tied for the tournament lead with an even par 72 was junior Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer)! Senior Spencer Daniels (Ashland) was tied for 6th with a 77. Rounding out the team two scoring were freshmen Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) and Hunter Jolliff (Elida) who went 81 and 82, respectively.

Pacing team one were seniors Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) and Nick Offenburger (Lexington) who  got it done with identical scores of 79. Junior Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) was nipping on their heels with an 80, while Nathan Eberle (Grove City) and Justin Metsker (Burbank/Wickliffe) shot 82 and 83, respectively.

Round two is in progress with both squads currently in the top four on Sunday, April 3.
