Beavers take 11th at Lou Collins Memorial

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Bluffton University men's golf team capped a solid opening weekend with a 317 at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 2. The Beavers were very consistent, going 315-317 for a 632 and 11th at the loaded event hosted by Olivet College.

Junior Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) fired a career-low 71 on Saturday, giving him a 154 for the weekend. His 71 is tied for 6th all-time at Bluffton! Graduate student Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) led the Beavers with a 152 for the tournament (73-79) which was tied for 15th.

Hunter Jolliff (Elida) went 76 and 81 for a 157, while Carson Brubaker (Shelby) had a fine first weekend of collegiate golf with a 169 (83-86). Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) shot 88 both days for a 176 at the Bedford Valley Country Club.

Bluffton returns to action on Friday, Sept. 15, when the men travel to Tecumseh Golf Club for the Irish Hills Intercollegiate.
