Men break 300 on day one of Beaver Fall Classic

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team was clicking on all cylinders Saturday, shooting a 299 at the Beaver Fall Classic. Bluffton stands third out of eight squads, trailing just Lourdes and Muskingum with 18 holes to play. The 11-over par established a new school record for the Bluffton men!

Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) and Hunter Jolliff (Elida) both fired 73's to lead the home squad, tying them for 7th at the midway point. Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) was all over it well, shooting a 74 on Saturday.

Sophomore Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) had his best collegiate round with a 79 and freshman Carson Brubaker (Shelby) was just three strokes off Macke's pace with an 82.

Bluffton will tee it up for day two of the Beaver Fall Classic at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.
