Bluffton takes 9th at Music City Shootout

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Bluffton University men's golf team shaved 11 strokes off its Saturday score with a solid round of 315 on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Bluffton finished 9th out of 13 teams with wins over both Hanover and Mount St. Joseph from the Heartland Conference.

Leading the way on Sunday was graduate student Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) who fired a 75 which added up to a 156 for the weekend. Also under 80 on day two was junior Hunter Jolliff (Elida) who went 78-76 for a 154 which tied him for 25th at the tournament.

Sophomore Carson Brubaker (Shelby) showed big improvement on Sunday, shooting an 81 which was 13 strokes lower than his round one tally. Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) and Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) carded rounds of 83 and 87, respectively. Tosi shot 168 for the weekend with Macke one shot off his pace.

Bluffton will continue its spring break travels, heading to Alabama on Monday, before a trip to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate on March 16-17.
