Bluffton kicks off Polar Beaver with a 317

LIMA, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team kicked off Eclipse Weekend with a solid 317 at the Polar beaver Classic on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Leading the way for Bluffton was graduate studen Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) who fired a 76. Just one stroke off his pace was junior Hunter Jolliff (Elida) who ripped it up with a 77 on day one.

Sophomore Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) was on fire, carding a nine-over 81 for the Beavers. Junior Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) and freshman Carson Brubaker (Shelby) went 83 and 84, respectively, as the Beavers stand in 10th place out of 16 teams heading into day two.

The men will be at Hidden Creek in Beaverdam for round two on Saturday, April 6. The first tee times on Saturday are slated for 10 a.m.
