Beavers power through with second straight 317

BEAVERDAM, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 317 for the second straight day, finishing with a 634 at the Polar Beaver Classic on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Bluffton finished 11th out of 16 teams at the inaugural event hosted by the Beavers and Ohio Northern.

Sophomore Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) was clicking on all cylinders as he fired a career-low 78 on day two, giving him a career-best 159 for 36 holes! Junior Hunter Jolliff (Elida) also scored a 78 for a Bluffton-best 155 over the weekend.

Freshman Carson Brubaker (Shelby) got it done with an 80 (164 for the tourney), while Evan Kujawa (Toledo/Whitmer) and Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) carded identical 81's on day two. Kujawa finished with a 157, while Brubaker and Tosi both added up to 164 for the Polar Beaver Classic.

Bluffton jumps right back into action next weekend when the Beavers travel to Wooster for the Nye Intercollegiate. Round one is slated for Saturday, April 13.
