ANDERSON, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's golf team opened up the Anderson University Spring Invitational with a 333 on Friday, April 25, 2025. Bluffton stands 7th in a field that includes HCAC rivals Franklin, MSJ, Earlham and host Anderson along with St. Francis from the NAIA.

Leading the Beavers was sophomore Carson Brubaker (Shelby) who shot an 8-over 78 on day one. Drake Sommer (Montpelier) shot an 83, while senior Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) and freshman Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) were one shot back of Sommer with a pair of 84's.

Junior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) and Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) carded identical scores of 87 and Jackson Eichler (Atwater/Waterloo) chipped in with an 88.

Bluffton will be back at the Delaware Golf Course on Saturday, April 26. Round two is slated to go off at 9:30 a.m.
