RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's golf team opened the Heartland Conference championships with a 334 on Friday, May 9, 2025. The Beavers found themselves in 8th place after day one.

Junior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) led the way with three birdies and an 82 on Friday. Freshmen Drake Sommer (Montpelier) and Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) were just one stroke back with a pair of 83's in round one.

Sophomore Carson Brubaker (Shelby) and senior Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) put up scores of 86 and 87, respectively, for the first 18 holes.

Bluffton and the rest of the HCAC are back at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
