Bluffton falls to Goshen, now 1-7

The Bluffton College men's soccer team suffered a 7-2 loss at Goshen College (Ind.) Saturday. Trailing 6-0, Junior Diego Rodriguez scored a goal at the twenty-six minute mark in the second half to open the scoring for the Beavers. Junior John Lindow again cut into the Maple Leafs' lead with a goal less than a minute later.

 

Bluffton has now dropped to 1-7 on the season and will be back home Thursday at Emery Sears Athletic Complex to take on Cincinnati Bible College at 4 p.m. 

 

Senior Andy Hornblower (three goals, one assist) and junior Diego Rodriguez (two goals, three assists) share the team-lead in scoring with seven points each, while junior Derek Stemen has collected 76 saves so far on the season.
