BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University (1-6) played the best game of the year against visiting Urbana University (6-3-1), but came out on the wrong end losing 3-1.

Talking with head coach Steve Smucker before the game he said, "The key to the game today is high pressure defense and going hard for the whole game."  The Beavers did just that for eighty-five minutes and it looked like no one could score on them as they played the most intense soccer of the season. Five minutes of let down would prove costly though as Urbana scored three goals to take the game.

After the game coach Smucker said, "This was a good match for us, Urbana is a tough team and they are first in their conference. Everyone played well  and we brought in a lot of people and they all played good.  We were very tight defensively and our tackling was very tough."
